In today’s blog I will be reviewing Levain Bakery! Levain Bakery has 9 different locations, I went to the Bethesda one.
So first thing I noticed was the cookies were very big. Regardless of that, I still decided to get one. I noticed it was very big again. I ate some of it but it got too much for me. By the way I go get desserts at least one a week. So if its a lot for me, it will probably be too much for most people.
The taste of the cookie was very good. I got a Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip. I just felt it was too sugary tasting for me.
One thing I have to point out which I liked very much is they had free water. They had a little station in the store with lemon water and cups where you could get water. I went back a few times to get water, since I was sitting in front of the store.
My overall rating for Levain Bakery is a 6.5/10. Would I recommend it? Probably not but its the type of place that your experience can be totally different than someone else’s based on how you like your desserts.
What I mean by this is, for example you might prefer really chocolate based cookies but I don’t so you might rate a 9/10 but I might rate it a 6.5/10 like I did.
